Wonderful Wednesday!

This week has been zippin' right on by! We played cars, trucks, trains, planes this morning! We were able to enjoy the beautiful temps outside as well! The kids helped me put away our Christmas books, I believe I have too many books, we had 2 Rubbermaid tubs full!

Breakfast: poptarts, banana
Lunch: popcorn chicken, french fries, green beans
Snack: cookies

Tuesday!

We've had a busy morning! They have been busy playing cops this morning! Not sure if the toy hand cuff's inspired this or not:)  We glittered 2011 followed by playing play dough. We must not have played play dough for a while because it kept there interest for quite awhile! Grandma came and read stories then we headed outside.... it is gorgeous out today! I hope to get out again after nap, we better take advantage of this beautiful weather!

Breakfast: blueberry muffin, pears
Lunch: tuna hotdish, frozen peas, banana
Snack: crackers

Monday!

I'm back to the blogging world! We kinda had a crazy/short week last week. This week may be a little of that too, but next week will be nice to get everyone back into our routine :)

I hope you each had a Very Merry Christmas! The kids each shared a few of their favorite gifts with me, it was neat to see how everyone received very different gifts!

We are taking the week off from curriculum! A nice needed break :) The kids helped me take down some Christmas decorations today as well as re-arrange the playroom.

The above picture is something that they have been working on for a few days, they each have their "house", which is a different color. I thought it was pretty clever!

Terriffic Tuesday!

We kinda had a slow start to our morning! Everyone all came in at different times with the weather :) We worked on following directions with a few worksheets this morning. It was amazing to see how well they really can listen :--)

We loved our time outside this morning!

Carter and his mommy stopped in this afternoon for a quick visit! The girls were crazy about him!

Finally Friday!

Can u see anyone up on top of the big hill? Here is a picture of our sledding hill that Mike has made for us! The dozer tracks work pretty good for them each to have a spot to sled down, that way we don't run anyone over on the way down!

We created reindeer with our hands and feet today and also played puzzles this morning, we haven't had them out for a while so it kept their interest a lot longer than I expected!

I chuckled to myself this morning, one of the girls had a keyboard on her lap and was asking everyone what they wanted for Christmas and was typing it to Santa... I asked if Santa was going to come to there house, their response... No, Santa only comes to Nicci's house and brings treats then Nicci takes a picture with all the kids! They sure don't forget a thing!


~*~ Monday, I have a dr. appt at 8:30, so Mike will be here. I should be back by 9:30.

HAPPY 4th BIRTHDAY BRIANNA!

We celebrated Brianna's 4th Birthday today. It's amazing to see how much she has changed since she started last October! She was a quiet, shy little girl!

It's a beautiful day out...

Today was beautiful when we were outside this morning! We couldn't have asked for much better weather, except maybe a little warmer! Mike built us a little snow hill so that kept them busy climbing!

We finished up our Santa's this morning as well as used stickers to create a gingerbread/Santa's workshop scene. We also did flannel board stories, it's cute to see them all flock towards the board when they hear the beginning of a song!

Breakfast: peanut butter toast, oranges
Lunch: chicken fries, tator tots, grapes
Snack: goldfish crackers

Busy Wednesday!

We've had a busy morning and I can usually tell when I hear more than one "I'm tired" at story time! We completed our parent gifts today, now I just need to do my thing with them! We also made wreaths with kisses and practiced the letter Ll today. I gave them strips of paper and they each created a L.

We did get outside for a few seconds! Yip, it probably took us longer to get ready and get undressed but we made it outside after being cooped up for a few days :)

Lunch: beef roast, mashed potatoes, corn, bread stick
Snack: santa cookies -- see below!

Terrific Tuesday :)

Burr... the air is cold today! Too cold for us to get outside and play! Our morning went by pretty fast, we made a reindeer that most of them each cut out the triangle for the body, their cutting skills are improving! Grandma came and read our books that we each brought this morning.

Marvelous Monday!

Our last full week before Christmas! We made adorable little elves today, it's so funny to see how they are each unique! We worked on reviewing our letters today as well and did some exercises to wear off a little energy since it was too cold to go outside.

Gail, my licensor was here this afternoon. We're good to go for another 2 years! If you received a survey from her, thank you for filling it out! She only had great things to say... so THANK YOU!

Lunch: chicken stir fry, applesauce, cheese bread
Snack: chips and cheese

Fantastic Friday :)

The house is smelling like gingerbread today, the kiddos may be full of flour when they go home!

Here's what we mixed together:
1 5 lb. bag of flour
1 carton of salt
3 TBSP ground allspice
3 TBSP ground cinnamon
3 TBSP ground cloves
3 TBSP ground ginger

We were also busy for circle time today, they seemed to want to keep busy, so we did a few things! We made a Santa, a stocking and glittered a light bulb... Then we played playdough and headed outside to enjoy the fresh air before it gets freezing cold this weekend!

Lunch: chicken strips, tartor rounds, banana
Snack: peanut butter cookies
