What a busy day we had today, it has flew right on by! We finished tracing every ones hand/foot prints that was gone yesterday for our angels. We also did the letter Hh today, it was Peyton's turn for the letter jar. We played a few games of matching with letters A-H on the bottom of kisses. They thought it was soooo much fun, it was an easy game to make and something different! We will have to do that again. I think the best part was eating them:) Grandma was out to read stories today and we enjoyed the 40 degree temperature outside!

We finished up our turkey hand prints and colored a thanksgiving picture today. Grandma was out to read stories and they helped me make turkeys out of Oreos, Reese's and M&M's for snack. They have had more fun cutting in the sensory table, I always forget how the younger kids absolutely love cutting!

Happy Tuesday everyone! Today we painted our hands for hand print turkeys and we will finish them after nap. We also played a few games of octopus domino's,  i love this game as it works on colors for the little kids and patterning with the big kids. We also worked on patterning with our Christmas counters before going outside. They quickly discovered how much faster you slide down the slide with snow pants on!

Breakfast: cereal, banana
Lunch: chicken stir fry/rice, apple
Snack: muffin

Monday.... we did the letter Gg today, Kendra brought us grapes, gummy worms and grape juice in the letter jar. We also made giraffes out of the letter G and made the 5 Little Turkeys for a few finger plays. Today, we started something thanks to an idea I found on pinterest, I wrapped up 24 Christmas books. We have 24 daycare days until Christmas, so each day who ever is the line leader will get to pick one and un-wrap it and that will be one book we will read at nap time. Since they all love to unwrap presents, I'm guessing this will become "a big deal!"!!!

They had so much fun playing out in the snow this morning! They shoveled and shoveled and shoveled and pulled the sleds around. Unfortunately I don't think it's going to last for long this week!

Breakfast: caramel rolls, oranges
Lunch: roast beef, mashed potatoes, broccoli, bread
Snack: graham crackers and grapes, gummy worms and grape juice!

We kept busy this morning, they played doctor and then discovered I purchased a new Lego set for the Lego table and it has a "magic" one! (clear Lego to look like an ice block) We also did Old Mother Hubbard this morning and worked a little bit on manners. I really figured they would have all been more tired today after trick-or-treating last night! We got out the Lego's today at the request of the preschoolers! They have been busy building towers and houses. We made Dalmatian dogs for letter Dd today as well as practiced writing Dd's.

We were without power for about 1 1/2 hrs. this morning, so if you hear anything about not having any lights... you know what they are talking about! They did have fun watching the power company men digging by the box across the road from the house.

Breakfast: cereal, grapes
Lunch: spaghetti, banana, garlic toast
Snack: chex mix
