~Thursday~

We started to work on our Mother's Day projects this morning... Shhh... close your eyes, don't look, it's a secret! Hopefully we can get them finished up next week so we can send them home in time for Mother's Day! So if you find paint on your child's hands/ babies feet- you will know what it was from:)

We enjoyed the nice weather this morning outside and even went for a walk, since most of the mud had dried up! A nice change!

I was able to finish up our book last night, so they have been busy reading/memorizing it! We will start to send it home with everyone next week so they can read it to/with you!

Breakfast: donuts, strawberries
Lunch: chicken bites, tator tots, bread, peaches
Snack: cookies

~Windy Wednesday~

It seemed like a busy morning! We each colored our "Brown Bear, Brown Bear" page for our new book we are making so we need to put each of our pictures onto the pages yet.

I had a Dr. apt this morning so Grandma was here and they read stories and when I got back we headed outside. They had a blast jumping on the trampoline. Something new is always fun! When we came back in, they said, "can we do that again!" "Yip, after nap and snack you can jump again!"

Breakfast: french toast sticks, pears
Lunch: lasagna, bread sticks, strawberries
Snack: granola bars

Rainy Tuesday...

We spent the morning flipping toys around in the playroom, the beauty salon was one of the things we got out... it kept them busy for awhile, until everyone only wanted to "do" hair and not have their hair "done"!

We also learned the letter Xx today and made a xylophone as well as did a few flannel board stories and worked on counting/sorting with the colored bears.

Breakfast: peanut butter toast, strawberries
Lunch: tacos, peaches
Snack: cinnamon tortilla

Happy Monday!

Happy Monday! We spent the morning in Marshall, library, Justice Park and we went thru the McDonald's drivethru and had a picnic at the Independence Park!

 Here's a few pictures from our Easter egg hunt yesterday!

We had a busy day today! We painted and did shaving cream once we were done with the paint! The school girls all said, "This is the best day ever!" So, I'm assuming the shaving cream was a hit!

Breakfast: donuts, pears

Snack: cookies

Here's a few reminders for next week:
*Monday: Please leave car seats-- we are planning on going to the library, park and out for lunch!
*Wednesday: I have a DR. Appt at 9:15 so Grandma will be here

Thursday...

Grandma was out to read stories this morning and before she got here, we wrapped up a couple presents for her new kitty that she is getting today. They were so excited to give her the presents! Open this up, read your card, open this up next! It was cute:)

Gotta love her hat! Looks like our Easter buckets may have to be a part of our dramatic play area:)

Due to the weather forecast, I decided we better have our egg hunt this afternoon. So, 400 eggs were scattered thru the yard. Doesn't look like an egg hunt, more like an egg pick up!

Wednesday...

It's Wednesday already! We made bunnies with our faces this morning as well as glued green spaghetti noodles as the grass on top of some eggs.

The kids were busy playing Lego's this morning, something that they haven't had much interest in for awhile! They took the Easter buckets and sorted each color into a bucket and then placed that color of Lego's onto that color of the Lego plates. Pretty creative!

Breakfast: muffins, banana
Lunch: tuna/cheese hot dish, strawberries, pinnacle, bread
Snack: peanut butter toast

Tuesday....

We finished our ducks today, if you notice yellow paint on your child, this is what it is from! Even Alexis was waiting patiently to have her hands painted, she thinks she needs to be a big kid too!They did manage to turn out super cute though! A few of them may need to dry overnight and they have lotssssss of paint!

We also colored a coloring page from the Bookmobile after we were done with our duck project and did a couple flannel board stories and worked on our colors for the littler ones.

We got outside just in time for sprinkles! That's OK, it was a little chilly out anyway so they ran off a little energy and we came in and they kept busy playing "Sunday School" until lunch!

Monday!

It's a Monday, and a gloomy one at that! Although it did seem fairly warm when we went out this morning.

We did the number 8 today, finished our bunnies from yesterday, started on ducks that we will finish tomorrow or Wednesday.

Breakfast: waffles, banana
Lunch: pork chops, baby potato's, peas, garlic cheese bread
Snack: elephant tracks

Busy Friday!

They had lots of energy today... so we did lots to keep their minds busy! We received a packet of coloring pages in the mail from the bookmobile for National Library Week, so we each colored a picture of "sweet pea" AKA the bookmobile! We also started on a bunny project that we will finish on Monday and we made Easter bunny's and stamped our hand prints as the whiskers... ADORABLE!

When we were done with all those projects, we did Easter flannel board stories and headed outside for a quick walk to run off some of our energy.

We will save our pinata for next week, I would rather we do it when it's warm and enjoyable out then freezing!

Thursday...

What a rainy gloomy day today! We decided it was too cold to go outside so we have been house bound all day:) The kids thought it was funny to watch the little sleet balls on the deck this morning, I will have to say, their reaction was nothing like the first snow fall!!!!

We made bunnies and colored a jelly bean sheet that we had to cut out and match up. We also did some flannel board stories and played a few board games like Sequence and Memory and did the letter songs. They spent the rest of their time playing dress up and with the cars.

Lunch: pizza boats, grapes, pineapple
Snack: fruit jigglers, animal crackers

Wednesday

We learned the letter Ww today! We waterpainted the letter W and also an Easter egg. Then we made chicks with our shoe print and handprints. Most of them cut out their shoe print by themselves:)

We did flannel board stories and the number songs before heading outside to play. They had lots of energy to run off this morning! Even Carter & Levi must be getting used to our routine of going outside, by 10:30, they were both fussy, once we got outside they were fine:)

Snack: caramel rolls

The above photo was from Pajama Day yesterday! It was also nice to be able to get a picture of all the kiddos together:)

We made kites today, it was a lengthly process but we survived it! I knew when they were done with them that their was no way I would have their attention for anything else! We did do flannel board stories and headed out to enjoy the beautiful weather!

Happy Monday!

Almost all of our toys are back today and they are excited! They spent their time running between everything when we were out this morning!

We made Easter Eggs today, at first they thought I didn't know what I was talking about since we cut our eggs into 3 parts and put a piece of ribbon in between:)

We had our last pajama day of the "season" today! LOL !!! 

Tomorrow: Bring your favorite book for story time!

Happy Friday!

Happy Friday everyone! We learned the nursery rhyme, Itsy Bitsy Spider today. The kids thought it should have been raining out for this one! We made a rain hat and rain boots for our spider. They turned out pretty cute:)

We enjoyed some time running around outside this morning. They were into driving the coupe cars. Guess we better dig out the gas station this weekend!

***I have received almost all of my papers back on why your child is special. If you have not done so, please bring them on Monday!

Windy Thursday!



Checking out the toys that Mike brought back yesterday before he unloaded them.



We had a small bunch this morning, so we did "play based learning" instead of an actual "craft! We built with blocks, played dolls, danced, read stories, played trains, set up the doll house, etc...

We did manage to get outside for a bit, but the wind was horrible! Despite the wind, they still had  a great time outside.

Wonderful Wednesday!

Fun in the sandbox!

We made a bunny on one side and a duck on the other. The kids think that they have something "magic"! Grandma came and read stories this morning. Then we enjoyed the outside! Yesterday afternoon, they re-discovered the sandbox and again this morning! They all played for such a long time:) The babies enjoyed watching them in the sandbox!

It's a Beautiful Day!

It's so gorgeous outside! We enjoyed plenty of time outside this morning and I can't wait to get outside again this afternoon! They kept busy exploring the slides, castle, barn and house. Everything seems like new again:) We also went for a walk to see if the bunny was still in the barn (Aylah tried to talk me into putting the bunny in his cage by the house, but I think we will save that job for Mike!) and checked out the horses. Hopefully we can talk Mike into getting out the rest of our toys so the front yard is complete again!

We learned the letter V today and made violets.

Breakfast: cinnamon rolls, banana
Lunch: HM cheese pizza, lettuce, strawberries, pears

Windy Monday!

Who asked for this wind? It certainly wasn't me or the kids! It about blew us away when we went out for a few minutes this morning. Tomorrow's weather forecast looks way better:) The only good thing about this wind, is maybe it will dry up the mud!

We made birds today and also colored Easter eggs, cut them out and glued them to the correct size. We also did flannel boards and they have been busy looking for bugs in the sensory table.

Wow! The week seemed to go by fast:) We are loving this nice weather.... the little ones were out in the swings this morning and almost all fell asleep! Gotta love the fresh air!

For circle time today, we made bunnies to hang up and also painted our hands for flowers. Of course, we had to do flannel board stories and they wouldn't let me get by without doing the colored houses and the mouse one.... seems to be their new fav!

They helped me make some brownies this morning for snack, so of course we had to each get a spoon for a taste test! Seems to have past the inspection:)
