Time to get caught up on this past week... I'm not sure where the week has went but here are a few things from our week!

We also found many dead birds in the yard this morning and this little guy was on the rocks, they were very concerned for him and thought we should try to save him. Thank goodness he was gone by the time we came back out in the afternoon!


Thursday, June 24th:
Aylah says to Mike, "Can you please read me this story?" He tells her it has to be a quick one so they read the Big Mouthed Frog.


Play-dough! It's amazing how much fun it can be when we haven't played with it for awhile!

Rain, Rain Go Away... We did puzzles this afternoon.

Strawberries in Disguise

On Friday, we read the book, The Little Mouse, The Red Ripe Strawberry, and The Big Hungry Bear. Our craft project was to create a disguise on the strawberry just as the mouse had done in the book. Take a look at a few of the bigger kids project:

Tuesday, June 8th

We got out all the little people sets this morning... was the playroom ever a mess! But it kept them busy and made the morning go fast!

Burrr... Monday, June 7th

Burrr... it's cold! The kids wanted to try out the water slide for the first time this year. I knew that it wouldn't take them too long to decide that it was COLD and I was right:)

We're Going on A Bug Hunt

We went on a bug hunt this morning, found lots of fly's, moths and ants. But my favorite was when the kids started to yell... "Nicci, we found a lobster!" "A what?" "A lobster!" It was some weird ant looking thing that yes really looked like a lobster!

School's Out... Summer Vacation is Here!

Here are a few pics from our day today! The kids decided to play restaurant this morning and in order to make everyone happy we had stuffed animal children and children as parents!

Wanda brought the baby horse over for a visit this morning too!

Morgan & Kylie read their books outside in the hammock this morning. I hope their reading enthusiasm keeps up!
