Tuesday

We did a few relay games outside this morning! Then after lunch, we had a wedding! Well, Aylah DID NOT want to marry Austin, so we can't call it a wedding:) Added a little wedding music and they all went nuts- it was hilarious to watch!

Austin came in singing, Santa Clause is Coming To Town", which has us all singing that all day!

Monday...

Happy Monday! They were excited to see everyone back today... we got out some different dress up clothes, so it was the fun today! The girly girls loved to twirl in their dresses!

Thursday

We spent our day in Marshall-- the park, car wash (which they all loved), Pizza Ranch and Wal-Mart to pick up some new fishies! Now onto nap and then we can get the fish into the tank!

Wednesday

1/2 way thru the week and tomorrow we are supposed to have a cool front.. bring it on!!! Today, they played an I Spy game for quite a long time this morning. Grandma was out to read stories and we headed outside for a little bit.

Doris will be here this afternoon. Please give me feedback on how she is with the kids... I'm a little nervous about it:) But, we've talked about it, enough.. the kids assure me they will be fine!

Tomorrow, we are taking a field trip somewhere... I'm not sure where. But, it looks like it may be the last day we can go anywhere before school starts.

Tuesday...

We were actually able to get outside this morning, for our "normal" amount of time! Yippee! It was wonderful! Although, I seen the forecast for August and they are predicting above average temps-- should make for a interesting August:)

We finished our sharks up today and also our dolphins. I will have to post a picture of them.

Monday...

Today, we kept busy playing in the tent the girls made on Friday, the only problem with tents like this is that it takes us a long time to pick up when we take them down:-)

We kept busy with a few projects this morning, trying to stay out of the heat and hopefully we will do the same this afternoon. We colored our scuba divers to hang up and also painted our dolphins and a paper plate for our sharks.

Friday

Happy Friday.. it sure looks like it could rain out! I wish it would:)

This morning, the boys played with trucks and trailers and the girls read some books:

We did a few flannel board stories and did the Rainbow Fish and talked about how it was nice of the Rainbow Fish to give away his scales and how it made him feel. Followed up by a worksheet that we had to color, cut and glue.

Car wash and water fight yesterday afternoon:

Today, we started our ocean theme, we made an octopus. The girls got back from swimming lessons and we went out to play. After the potion lab, they decided to have a parade, so they tied up the cars with jump ropes! This afternoon, they think we should go on a walk and throw grass as candy:) I'm thinking it will be another afternoon of water fun!

Wednesday...

Coupe cars was what interested them this morning! I told them we should set up a car wash this afternoon in our swim suits!

Here's our new shelf for the toys, it seems to work a little better and it's amazing the stuff they can find when everything is in sight!

Tuesday...

Today, we went to the city park for Wild About Reading, by United Way. The kids had a great time despite the humidity. They read 3 different stories to the kids and did various activities in between books such as Simon Says, a matching game and they had different letters and numbers written on the sidewalk and when the music stopped they had to go to a certain letter/number.

Then, we played at the park for about an hour and headed back about 11:00. I took my SD card out of my camera last night to upload some pictures and forgot to put it back in.. so no pictures from today!

Monday

It's Monday today! The kids have their last week of swimming lessons, so we are taking advantage of having a smaller group to work on some of those important skills such as... our name! I found some neat highway letters today (each letter is like a highway), but I want to laminate them first before we use them. Thought maybe these would appeal to the boys to help with letter recognition.

Tomorrow, we will go to Wild About Reading at the city park at 9:30 and we will return about 11:30/45

It's Cake Boss day! A great way to end our week! See you all on Monday!

Wednesday...

Hello Wednesday! We watched the Ice Age episode of Cake Boss today, so the kids could see what the show really was. They thought it was cool to see how they could decorate and make so many things for the cakes. The bigger girls really got into it.

Today, we used stickers to create a bake shop. It was a fun thing to do outside!

We also baked most of our cakes for tomorrow... the house sure smells yummy!

Tuesday

Yesterday, I let them make their own fruit pizza... they thought it was sooooo much fun! Of course, we had to add sprinkles!

Today, we made suncatchers, hopefully they will dry fast and we can hang them up! This afternoon, we will makes some chocolate chip cookies for "Who Stole the Cookie"! We were without power for almost 2 hours this morning, so you may hear about it!

We started our Jr. Cake Boss week! I seriously think I've been looking forward to this theme for a few months and we only have 4 days to get all my projects done! We made aprons today and we will send them home on Thursday! It was the first day of swimming lessons, so it was a touch of what fall will be like-- QUIET!

A game of Guess Who

Happy Friday! Today, we played with a few different things, we got some new buildings for the car mats. So, they had fun driving the cars to the different places. We only went outside for a bit this morning, but will do water fun outside this afternoon.... hopefully this is the last HOT HOT day!

We tried cherries at lunch today, not all the kids were wild about them, but thought it was fun to see the seed in the middle!

Thursday!

It sure feels like a Monday today! Today, they started to set up a campsite! So, I gave them our pretend fire and some marshmallows and they thought they were soooo cool! Just love to help their imaginations:) The "cabin" was in the playroom and the tents were set up in the living room and I should have snapped a picture of the bus, they used to transport back and fourth!

We had a great day celebrating the Fourth of July today! They were all so excited to wear their shirts! We made noise shakers and played in the water this morning. I think we will spend the afternoon inside!

Happy Monday! Sounds like the kids all had a great time last week... it sure was a quiet week! today, we made eagles for the Fourth of July and also played in water to stay cool outside. They had more fun making their own waterslide this morning!
