Playing with our new kitchen

Roller coaster... still isn't boring!

It sure feels like Monday today! I hope you all had a great Christmas and I'm guessing everyone did by the mood the kids were in today!

We enjoyed our time having the school kids here this week!

Merry Christmas!

We had a full day of celebrating today! We finished our Christmas trees and did our usual reindeer hats and red noses!



We got a early Christmas present:) they love it!

I wish each of you a very merry Christmas! See you all on Wednesday for pajama day!

Thursday

We built gingerbread houses this morning and I have a sneaking suspicion that they will be returning to their homes after nap:)

They sure traveled all over the world! We received notes from as far away as Singapore, Mexico, New York, Washington DC, California, South Dakota and lots from MN!

Wednesday!

Today, we painted our trees green and we will finish them either after nap or on Friday... Then, we made a mouse for letter Mm.

Happy 2nd Birthday Mr. Levi! We've had fun celebrating with you today:) He sure was proud of his presents and has made it known that they are "mine!"

Tuesday!

Wowza.... we were busy today! I think I'm just as tired a the kiddos:)

Then we  grew candy canes!!

First we started with a cup

Then added magic dirt (faux snow)

Then a peppermint candy

And water and stirred it to make candy cane soup

Look what grew at nap time?!!!

Happy 6th Birthday Brianna! Once a shy little girl, now who loves school and is picking up on the school attitude:)

Monday

Happy Monday everyone! We have one "normal" week left until the holiday's begin! Brooklyn had her 15 month check up today, so Rosie was out to watch the kids while I was gone for that. When we got back, we went out to play in the snow:)

I think we will be busy busy the rest of the week, I have so many projects I want to do with the kids yet before Friday!

Thursday!

Today, we finished our elves from last week and worked on writing our names. We brought up the Barbie house and race car track, so both of those kept us busy before we went out to play in the snow.

Sled ride!

Rolls with Delmar

We had a BUSY BUSY morning! We went to the Oasis for rolls for Delmar's retirement from the city council. (they were so yummy!) Then, we came back and worked on one of our projects for our parent's Christmas gift. We went out to play on the snow hills and then got a sled ride! Finally, after lunch, we started on our salt dough ornaments. Let's hope they turn out like I envision!

Tuesday!

Snow day yesterday meant a busy day!!! It was fun having Amber & Kylie here... Today, we kept busy this morning-- first we used our finger prints to make candy canes and then we made ornament sun-catchers to hang up. Gail, my licensor was out for re-licensing and we played with red/green mint playdough to keep busy while she was here. After lunch, we went out to enjoy the fresh air!

Friday

Have a great weekend! We replaced the batteries in some new cars/trucks that we got out... we had a race track going thru the kitchen, bathroom, playroom, living room, etc...!

Levi said he wanted to paint today.... so first we painted with bows, then we finger painted!

When we first went outside this morning, it was just starting to snow... but little flakes. Then once we came in, it was really starting to snow. So, we had lunch and then went back out to play in it!

What another nice day outside! This morning we made lions for the letter L and then painted pieces for our elf.... once they dry we will be busy cutting and gluing them together.

Working on writing our names on Christmas cards to go out with  my gingerbread sightings (they just think we are sending a card to other daycares!)

Tuesday, December 4th

We made gingerbread cookies this morning and they got away:) If you've seen them, could you please send us a note or letter letting us know as we are very concerned where they went!

Of course, these 2 enjoyed the decorations!
