Hip, hip hooray it's Friday! The weather forecast looks like it's going to be a beautiful weekend! Today, we got out the musical instruments...not sure what I was thinking, but they had a blast! We also worked with the geo-boards this morning.

Breakfast: french toast, banana
Lunch: tuna hotdish, peas, oranges
Snack: pumpkin bars

-Thursday-

Makeup, hair and house is what we've been playing today! We painted with peeps today, little did I realize they would turn sticky and mushy when they got wet from the paint!

Grandma will stay with the kids this afternoon, while I have a re-check on my leg at 2:00, hopefully all goes well and it isn't a repeat of last Tuesday!!!

-Wednesday-

Today, we started to make our Easter chicks with our handprints. We will finish them up after nap. Otherwise, today, they were into racing trucks and tractors. We did get outside for a little bit this morning, hopefully it will warm up for after nap. We also started to watch Hop today, it looks like a cute movie!

-Tuesday-

We made Easter bunnies today, love to watch and see how they each make it their own project! They even did awesome with cutting out ALL the pieces.

It is so windy out today, but we still enjoyed our time outside. Here's a few pictures from this morning:

-Monday-

Happy  Monday! It was so nice to get back into the swing of things after last week! The kiddos must have missed each other as we all pretty much got along today! Today, we made bunnies/ducks and also went outside for a bit but the wind was chilly and quite strong.

I didn't submit any invoices on Friday, I figured I would just wait until this Friday and include them together.

We must have all enjoyed the nice weather this weekend, we have some very tired kiddos today! Nap time should be wonderful for them:) Today we started to make Easter things, hard to believe it will be here in just a short time, but with the weather, seems like it. Hopefully we won't have to worry about snow this year for the egg hunt!

Lunch: ham, mashed potatoes, peas, bread
Snack: granola bars


It was so windy outside, we spent most of our time in the sandbox, so we were sheltered at least a little bit!

The baby horse was finally born! They've been waiting and waiting and kept asking how long it was going to stay in her tummy! I think we will have to do a theme on baby animals, as they had some pretty "interesting" questions:))

Happy Early St. Patrick's Day! That sneaky little leprechaun has been playing tricks on us yesterday and today. I just love to watch their facial expressions...This is what being little is all about:)

We made our hats this morning, they have been into playing "house" the past few days, its fun to watch them come up with roles for everyone.

Monday is pajama day!

Breakfast: donut holes, banana

Lunch: chicken strips, french fries, applesauce

Snack: strawberries, oranges, pinneaple, green grapes, blueberries, purple grapes and marshmallows for the clouds

-Thursday-

The kids and I are loving this weather! It's been fun to watch their imaginations at work, playing outside, the stuff they come up with!

Today, we made a leprechaun with a rainbow beard. We also did a few flannel board stories. Otherwise, they turned our pizza shop into an office.

Lunch: hamburger/rice hotdish, pears, apple

-Wednesday-

Rosie was here while I took Brooklyn to her appointment, I know that they were playing when I left and they read books then went outside to play.

-Tuesday-

What another beautiful day we have today! This morning we made a pot of gold with a rainbow and also did letter U, then we went outside to enjoy the beautiful day. The kiddos helped me put together our caterpillar climber, it was a big discussion as to the orders the colors should be!

I think I forgot to mention on the newsletter, but Brooklyn has her 6 month check at 9:30 tomorrow, so Rosie will be here while I'm gone.

What a dreary Monday, at least it's not snowing and blowing! Loving this beautiful weather we have been having! Yesterday, I spent a good chunk of time cleaning up the playground, feels so good to have most everything back outside!

Today, we glittered eggs to hang up and they also had a great time playing playdough coming up with all sorts of crazy creations! Like this bunny with a tutu:

The school kids and Brianna are going to make a leprechaun trap this afternoon to see if we can catch the leprechaun.

-Friday-

It's Friday! What a beautiful day it would be outside if there was no wind, oh well, we enjoyed playing in the sand box this morning, where we were sheltered from the wind. We also made rainbows with fruit loops.

Lunch: corn dogs, french fries, oranges
Snack: yum yum desert

HAVE A GREAT WEEKEND! The weather looks to be beautiful next week, I plan to spend my weekend digging out our playground toys:))

redwood library

-Thursday-

We had a fun day at the Redwood Library followed by lunch at McDonalds. They all said when we left the library, that was so much fun, can we come back again?

-Wednesday-

We had a quiet day today with most of the kids gone on vacation or the rest at school, for the ones that were here we worked on writing their names.

Grandma returned from her trip to Mexico and was out to read stories.

Tomorrow we will go to the Redwood Library in the morning!

What an amazing nice day outside! Wish it would stick around:) We totally enjoyed our time outside this morning and can't wait to get back out this afternoon!

We started learning about rainbows today and each painted a rainbow for something we will use in a couple days to hang up on the bulletin board.

It would be so nice outside if there was no wind today:(

Denise, the food program lady, was here this morning to watch us eat breakfast, so if you hear about some lady, that's who it was!

We headed to the Milroy Libary this morning then we were able to play in the gym afterwards and seen most of the school kids!

--Thursday--

Letter Ss today, we made snakes. The kids were busy playing puzzles, flannel stories and legos this morning. We enjoyed the snow today, I was told we needed colored spray bottles so we could color the snow!

Thanks to my good eaters I won a bet with Mike, he said no way the kids would eat lunch today and they did!!!

Lunch: chicken stir fry (chicken, rice, broccoli, carrots, cauliflower), banana
Snack: green eggs and ham AKA green applesauce and vanilla wafers

Tomorrow we will leave about 8:45 for the Milroy Library, the best part is playing in the gym afterwards!
