We made fairies today I seen on pinterest.... gotta love that website:) They also helped me re-arrange in the playroom, it's always fun to listen to their suggestions:) We enjoyed another wonderful day outside!

--Monday--

Happy Monday! Everyone must have had busy weekends! They were tired kiddos today.... I took Brooklyn in for her ear re-check this morning, so Mike stayed with the kids. While I was gone, I'm not quite sure what they did, but they were coloring when I left! We enjoyed the beautiful day outside and it looks to be another gorgeous week!

Happy 3rd Birthday Peyton! What a joy it's been watching her grow and change over the past 3 years!

Happy Friday! We didn't do much on the curriculum side today since we start Valentine's Day stuff next week! A couple of them have been asking to play play dough, this week... so I promised them Friday would be the day! They thought it was so much fun to catch the huge snowflakes on their tounges when we were outside, wish I would have grabbed my camera!

Today we painted with blue and white and also made hats. We enjoyed the beautiful day outside! Mike pulled them on sleds, i was wishing I could have had a ride too!

--Wednesday--

Wednesday already! We are 1/2 over:) Today, we learned Little Bo Peep and did a few worksheets to go with those, we also practiced writing our names and stamped the number 11.

We started to make a fort outside this morning, I will post pictures tomorrow as it's not letting me upload anything today:(

--Tuesday--

We were busy busy today... They played in the circus tent for part of the morning. We learned the letter N today and made a nest on the letter N. We also practiced writing Nn's. Once we were done with our projects, we did a couple flannel board stories and reviewed our daycare rules! They are all aware if they choose to break one of our rules, they will be moving their stop lights to the next color, either yellow or red. Outside, they had more fun shoveling the snow into the sleds. They also figured out that they fly down the yellow slide with their snowpants on!

Burr! That wind is chilly today, but it didn't stop us from getting a few minutes of fresh air... they absolutely LOVED it ouside today, Mike started a snow hill for them, although it isn't very big they still had fun.

--Thursday--

Wow! This week is zipping right on by! We kept super busy this morning! We did letter Mm today, and made a mouse out of the M. They each used their own glue today, so it was a HUGE deal! Not sure if they will all be going home today or how long they will take to dry:) We also made snow owls, I was reminded that owl starts with the letter o! What a smart bunch of kiddos I have! We also did a few flannel board stories and played a few games of memory. They kept busy in between activities, selling things for the store the big girls made yesterday afternoon.

--Wednesday--

I'm back! Yippee! Don't think I've ever been so excited to receive the phone call that my computer was done, I guess you don't realize how much you depend on something until you don't have it!

We have been staying busy the last few days with the freezing temps and wind! We did get outside a few times, but not for long! At least we actually have snow now, which means we can shovel when we go outside, one of their favorite things to do!

Today, we made snowflakes with different shapes. We learned that snowflakes are hexagon's with 6 sides. Grandma was out to read stories one last time today, she is off to Mexico for 6 whole weeks:)

Happy Friday! We had a great pajama day today! I should have snapped a picture this morning of everyone in their PJ'S! We did quite a few things this morning since we didn't go outside. Worked on sizing from smallest to biggest. We also made a snowflake mask and finished practicing our names.

Have a great weekend! Monday Brooklyn has a dr. appt at 8:45, so Grandma will be here when I'm gone!

--Thursdsy--

Burr... it's freezing outside today, too cold for us to go outside! We has to do some large motor skills inside to get rid of our extra energy! We made elephants to hang up for Valentine's Day. We also practiced writing our names with a capital and then all lowercase letters.

Lincoln logs and magna tiles were the hit this morning!

What a wintry day! It would have been a great day for PJ Day! They played so nice with the their "babies" this morning! We made snowmen out of marshmallows, I was so suprised they didn't even eat any until we were done... Grandma was out to read stories. We also played with puzzles and did a few songs that made them move to get out some wiggles!

Another gorgeous day outside and we were out to enjoy it! I feel awful with all the snow that they were predicting for this year, most of our outside toys have been put away, who would have guessed this it how most of our winter was going to be like? We did go on a ride on the ranger today, they didn't want to get off! I assured them we would go again this afternoon.

It's Friday! All the fresh air we got yesterday must have worn them all out for today! We made snowmen with our names today, each snowball had a letter of our name on it. The ones with short names, thought they should have more snowballs until they figured out what we were doing! We also reviewed the letters A-K with a snowman matching game.

What a beautiful day it is today! It feels more like March and not January weather! Today, we kept busy playing play dough, making penguins, reading a few stories about penguins and Grandma was out to read stories, we enjoyed the beautiful weather. They still haven't lost interest in the "house", even Levi gets in but can't figure out how to get out always, so I tell the kids he turns into superman and breaks through the wall!

--Tuesday--

Hope you all had a great long weekend...They must have missed each other! I kept them busy this morning as the wind seemed too chilly to go outside. We made Eskimos and did the letter Kk. I sure have a smart bunch of kids! When we were making our kites, I was asked, "we haven't done Q yet, when are we going to do letter Q", they continued through the rest of the letters that we haven't done yet! I told them we would do letter L next!

Snack: tuna salad/ crackers

Yesterday, I got a cardboard playhouse that we can color on and play in... so that will be on the agenda for this afternoon!
