Tuesday!
They must all know that it's their last day for awhile to play with their friends as we had a great day today:) The bigger girls helped me hang up window clings in the playroom, they kept on saying that the big girls were going to be mad that they got to decorate!
We also played a few games, one was a patterning game with monsters and the other was a pumpkin game where they had to match up the lowercase to the uppercase alphabet.
Breakfast: cinnamon raisin toast, grapes
Lunch: hamburger rice hotdish, broccoli & cheese, applesauce

Monday!
They have been enjoying our new spiral tube slide! Oh so much fun! It's nice to have it finally be completed as well as having it be re-stained. They were a little bumbed I kept them off it last week while the staining project was going on, it will only be that much more fun for this week:)
We did a few flannel board stories before I left for my dr. appt this morning, they colored a scarecrow while I was gone and they were all outside playing when I returned.
Tomorrow, Tuesday will be my last day until October 17th. I have a feeling I'm going to miss my little rug rats a little more than I should:)

Thursday
Happy Thursday! We had a busy and productive morning:) Painted with the color RED, then they wanted to do dobbers so we did them and ended up making some necklaces out of beads since we just had girls at the table this morning:)
They are getting so good at the alphabet, we've been practicing with a few alphabet games. It's amazing to see the difference between this year and last.
Since all the picky eaters are back in school, we tried this 10 Minute Chicken Stir Fry for lunch. They all seemed to love it, especially the broccoli. Maybe next week we will have to try beef and broccoli!
10 Minute Chicken Stir Fry
1 c. chicken broth
3 T soy sauce
2 T cornstarch
1 tsp ground ginger (I didn't have any)
2 T oil
3 cloves garlic, minced
3/4 lb chicken breast
5 c fresh frozen cut-up vegetables, such as peppers, onions and broccoli (I used a bag of California blend veggies)
In small bowl, combine broth, soy sauce, cornstarch, and ginger, and set aside. In a large skillet or wok, heat oil and garlic, on medium heat. add chicken, stirring quickly and frequently. Cook 2 minutes. add vegetables and stir-fry for 3 minutes. Stir broth mixture and pour into skillet, stirring constantly. Bring to a boil for one minute. Serve with rice- makes 4 servings.
Breakfast: cereal, banana
Lunch: chicken stir fry, oranges, grapes
Snack: pretzels and bomb pops-- thanks to Brianna

--Thursday--
Happy Thursday! Not much to report today:) I had a dr. appt this morning (I'll be here for at least another week unless something happens on it's own) while I was gone, Mike was here- all seemed well when I got back, they looked like they were having a good time flying paper airplanes!
We enjoyed some outside time before it gets too hot outside, let's hope it's the last of the hot, hot weather!
Here's a little funny for today- for lunch, we had chicken & cheese tortillas, so I cut them into triangles then put every one's first letter of their name on top of theirs with ranch. It was the funniest thing ever to watch:) When they were taking more, they had to make sure to put their letter on top again! I'm afraid I may have started something:)
Breakfast: monkey bread, grapes
Lunch: chicken & cheese tortillas, lettuce, banana
Snack: cookies
