We made stained glass butterfly's today! They sure look pretty hanging in the windows!

Then it was time to get outside, but it was a little chilly!

"That's enough of this being out in the wind... I'm ready to go in!"

We had a new friend visit  today named Taylor... So if you hear them talk about her, you know:)
Have a great weekend! Happy Mother's Day to all of our wonderful mommy's! We hope you all enjoy your presents! Next week, we will finish up our Very Hungry Caterpillar stuff and then Friday, we are headed to the YMCA or maybe the park depending on the weather!

We made our cocoons for our caterpillars and then we had to hang them up! Hopefully they will turn into a butterfly!

We turned our names into the Very Hungry Caterpillar this morning. Of course, they couldn't figure out why Brooklyn has so many in her caterpillar! 

Then we headed outside... time to swing! Their favorite game to play on the swings lately is where they swing and then we sing the little song about the 5 Little Monkeys sitting in a tree swinging on the swings, teasing mr. alligator can't catch me, can't catch me, along comes mr. alligator as quiet as can be and he snapped a monkey right out of the tree swing... Then, I get to pretend that I'm the alligator and snap one of the them... oh, they giggle and giggle!

All the mud dried up and the battery was charged so we got the jeep out! I decided that this time, it pays to be short because Levi will probably get to drive these for awhile! Poor Lexi is squished when it's her turn to drive.

The rest of the kids had to have their feet painted today for our little project!

We did get outside this morning, but it was so darn windy, it really wasn't any fun! We came back in and played and if you look close out the window you could see the planter and tractor!

We finished our Mother's Day presents today... planting flowers was an experience to say the least!

FINALLY... we were outside this morning! A little windy, but manageable!

Racing the trucks around was the thing they all wanted to do today! You didn't dare not watch where you were walking for fear you were going to get your toes zoomed over!

we made May Day baskets today! I think their favorite part was eating the left over candy!

We also worked on our Mother's Day presents for a little while as well! A cloudy and yucky looking day, we actually stayed inside all day and surprisingly none of them asked to go out.
