Happy Fall Day! I guess our warmer fall days are probably almost done for, so we better enjoy the 40's and 50's before we have 10's and 20's:)

We were busy, busy this morning. We glittered pumpkins, glittered our names to work on name recognition, used foam stickers and decorated a haunted house shape. We also did a few flannel board stories and we've been talking about our polite manners for trick-or-treating on Monday!

Brrrrrrrrrr... it's chilly out their today! It seems like we accomplished a lot this morning, they helped me re-arrange the play room and bring up the doll house and the workshop, they all insisted on going to the basement with me, so we practiced our storm drills while we were at it! We colored a Halloween picture and then went outside.

It's Monday!

I'm guessing everyone had busy weekends, but despite the tiredness, they are still in really good moods! We did lots this morning, read the book, Owl Babies and made owl babies. You will have to ask them what Bill kept on saying in the book! We also did Go Away Big Green Monster and made our own big green monsters and when we were finished with those projects we worked on visual discrimination with spider webs. So, we had a busy morning and still found time to get outside:)

Breakfast: cereal, banana
Lunch: ham, mashed potatoes, peas, bread
Snack: witch fingers and blood dip (bread sticks w/ spaghetti sauce)

We found the snake gourds in the garden today! This was the biggest

What a busy day we had today, they were ready to be busy and the weather was perfect for it! We played dress up with the Halloween costumes we got out yesterday afternoon, then we did a few projects for circle time including finishing our owls (which I love!!!), the kids wanted to make monsters, so we used dobbers for those and then we learned the 5 Little Pumpkins poem and make our 5 pumpkins on the gate.

When we were finished with all that, we played play dough with the play dough that we made after breakfast. I can tell that we haven't done play dough for such a long time as they ALL played for about 30 minutes. We went outside to run around and played the red light, green light game on our walk.

I think we will make witches this afternoon since it's freezing outside:)

Breakfast: pancakes, pineapple
Lunch: pork chops, mashed potatoes, corn, bread
Snack: chex mix

I love the glasses!

Check out the fancy shoes to go with the army suit!
