Above is a picture of our housekeeping area, actually clean! Gotta love it:)
We stamped with apples this morning and also matched the same leaves. We began to work on writing our names. I think most are ready, we will keep plugging away at it! Grandma was out to read stories this morning as well- she's off to Alaska for 10 days, so I'm not sure if we will see her again before or after the baby's born!
Breakfast: pancakes, grapes
Lunch: scalloped potatoes/ham, corn, bread sticks

**Tuesday**
We played a game of tag tails when we were outside this morning, of course, they usually belong in the back but the little kids like to see their tails so they put them in the front:)
We learned the letter Bb today, thanks to Brianna for bringing us the letter jar. We glued buttons and a balloon to the letter B and also practiced writing Bb's. The letter Bb song is cute and catchy:)
I spent some time last night re-arranging our housekeeping area to make room for our new nursery center that should be arriving today. I'll have to post a picture tomorrow. They were baking cakes and cookies up a storm, they kept wanting to celebrate my birthday, I told them we couldn't anymore because I didn't want to be OLD! LOL! When they weren't playing with the kitchen set, they were busy using their imaginations building with Lincoln logs.
Breakfast: pop tart, banana
Lunch: chicken, potatoes, stuffing, peas
Snack: granola bars

Happy Monday everyone! We worked on the letter Aa today so we can start the letter Bb for tomorrow. We also made some cute owls today and they had a blast playing with some new fabric numbers I sewed this weekend, I guess I will have to make the alphabet now! The littler ones didn't like it when I wanted them to tell me what number they had!

--Thursday--
Happy Thursday everyone! The weather must be changing or something, they have been W-I-L-D today:) We started learning letter Aa today (Thanks to Aylah for over-filling the letter jar for letter A!) and made an apple from the little a. We were going to practice writing Aa's and I could tell we wouldn't have gotten very far, so we will save that activity for tomorrow.
We made some adorable scarecrows today though, we just need to find someplace to hang them up:
Breakfast: cereal, grapes
Lunch: tacos, banana
Snack: animal crackers from Aylah

We did the poem, Way Up High In The Apple Tree today and made apple trees with our hand/arm print and then used our fingers for the leaves on the tree. We are waiting to add our two apples to our trees once they dry! We also colored an apple puzzle, then cut it out.
Their new favorite flannel board story, is Ten Red Apples, I think their favorite part is when the farmer cried, "save some for me!" It's a very repetitive book and they absolutely love it!
Grandma was out to read stories today and we headed outside once we were done! What a beautiful day it is, a total change from yesterday.
Breakfast: blueberry muffin, banana
Lunch: pizza hotdish, applesauce, peas, garlic bread
Snack: grapes & pineapple

We had a busy morning, we started by doing the calendar/weather/flannel board stories then we did Patty Cake, Patty Cake and did a worksheet where we had to count the number of cakes on each pan. They did amazingly well! We also finger painted an apple with red and green. We even let Lexi paint with us today, did she ever think she was big stuff!
When we were outside, we added color to the potion lab, it's so amazing how long they can each spend to pour, mix and dump colored water!
The bookmobile should be arriving later this afternoon!
Breakfast: pancakes, banana
Lunch: chili, watermelon, crackers
Snack: yogurt, vanilla wafers

~Happy Monday~
Happy first day of school! We had to get out the school bus tent today, so we could drive to school too... Someone even had to be "Doug"! LOL!!
We started on our apple theme today, and read the book, Ten Apples Up On Top, then we made the amount of apples we needed to write our names. We figured out that Brianna has the longest name and Aylah had the shortest name!
Breakfast: cereal, banana
Lunch: chicken & rice, broccoli/cheese, watermelon
Snack: brownies
