What a great day we've had today! We made some "flat" snowmen, I will post a picture tomorrow. I love this project as they are each so different. Yesterday, we made "insta-snow", I guess if we don't have snow to play with, we will have to make our own! We also have been using golf practice balls for our "snowballs" to have a snowball fight! We had our tea party and Grandma was out to read stories this morning as well. We enjoyed the beautiful weather! It sure doesn't feel like winter in MN today!
Breakfast: caramel rolls, pears
Lunch: chicken, mashed potatoes, corn, bread
Snack: cinnamon toast

Whew! What a BUSY day we had today! We used shaving cream to make stars for Twinkle, Twinkle. We also used tape to make stripes on our candy canes, then painted them red. They thought it was amazing to watch as the tape was peeled off to see I really was right! Then they painted with red and green when we were finished. We got outside to run off a little bit of energy, but, burr... I'm not used to this cold weather yet!
Breakfast: french toast, banana
Lunch: chicken Alfredo with tortellini noodles (which they all loved), grapes, pears

We made Santa's today with movable feet, they needed to be colored and it seems like we haven't colored in awhile. We also built a fort, so that kept us busy! Brooklyn received a few new toys for Christmas, so they had fun helping me put them together so they could play with them!
Happy 5th Birthday Brianna! She was so shy when she started daycare with us, now she is just the exact opposite!
Happy 1st Birthday Levi! it's hard to believe you are one already!

Happy Friday everyone! What a busy day we've had! We baked gingerbread cookies (with peanut butter dough) this morning and one ran away. He led us on a wild chase thru the house until we finally found him outside. They thought it was soooooooooo funny that he went potty before going outside! (I used sugar sprinkles since I couldn't find my food coloring, so they think he poops blue:--) We also made gingerbread men and did a gingerbread dot-to-dot.
Enjoy your weekend, hopefully it's not too busy! Wednesday is pajama day and we will have our party on Friday.
Breakfast: cereal, pears
Lunch: hamburger/potato hotdish, lettuce, biscuits
Snack: peanut butter blossom cookies

Happy Thursday, what a busy day we've had! We completed our parent gifts:
We also made reindeer with our handprints and Aylah and Peyton brought a coloring book, so we all had to color a picture! We haven't danced to the number and letter songs for awhile, so they enjoyed doing both this morning.
They were so busy playing this morning, it's fun to watch their imaginations at work:
Breakfast: pop tart, pears
Lunch: chicken nuggets, french fries, applesauce
Snack: yogurt, graham crackers

Sorry for not posting yesterday, I must have got side-tracked! Today, we did the letter Jj and made a jingle bell bracelet, they had to figure out a trick to get the bells onto the pipe cleaner. We also practiced writing our letter Jj's. They enjoyed running around outside... so nice not to have the temps be freezing cold!
Yesterday, we got a few new things. They have been having a blast playing with:
Breakfast: waffles, apples
Lunch: chili, applesauce, crackers
Snack: crackers
