Windy Tuesday!

It was so windy this morning, thank goodness it finally went down. It looks like this afternoon will be gorgeous! We did get outside this morning for a little bit...

Today, we worked on the number 6 and glued a couple different groups of 6 to our Number 6. I also had them use the hole punch to punch six holes, I didn't realize that most of them didn't have the hand muscles to do this... so I guess we will work on some hand strengthening activities that will also help with writing skills down the road:)

Breakfast: cereal, pears
Lunch: spaghetti, lettuce salad
Snack: grapes, graham crackers

Stir Crazy!

We're going stir crazy... we're on almost two weeks straight in the house... We need to get out:) Hopefully tomorrow it will be nice enough that we can get some fresh air into our lungs... it sure makes a difference including everyone's moods!!!!

We made fish out of hearts today and the bigger kids worked on heavy or light objects. Otherwise, we spent most of the morning dancing and playing. The little girls played dolls, the boys built with the workshop.

Wonderul Wednesday!

Someone told me it's supposed to be in the 30's all next week..... Whooo hooo!!! I can't wait! We will really be enjoying all that fresh air then :)

We sent the big kids off to school today and tackled trying to paint sun catchers this morning. Not sure if we will do this again with this age group. None the less, they still were able to paint them, so once they dry we will have to hang them up to see what they are really going to look like!

We also got our the doll house and workshop today. In between playing with those things, they also were busy playing doctor. A couple of them looked like they were having brain surgery:)

Before lunch, they helped me mix up the muffins for snack.... such big helpers I had!

Breakfast: pop tarts, banana
Lunch: chicken, rice, pears, grapes
Snack: muffins

Alligator Valentine Box's

I need to get back into the routine of blogging again.... all these snow days we've had lately, I guess I got out of the routine... So sorry about that!

We were able to send the kids to school today, yahoo! They were pretty excited to go and I was glad to send them off:) We did the letter P today, thanks to Peyton for bringing back the letter jar. We also made Valentine monsters and completed our alligator valentine box's.

At lunch time today, I put plain applesauce on their plates... then for the bowl on the table, I mixed in red food coloring... Oh... the red applesauce tastes so good Nicci, much better than the other stuff!

Breakfast: cereal, grapes
Lunch: tacos, applesauce
Snack: goldfish crackers

We've been busy playing post office lately:

Time to blog again!

With all the snow days this week, I guess I didn't blog about our days! Today, I had a DR. appt so Grandma Rosie stayed with the kids this morning. After I got back, we worked on a few groundhog projects. Amber and Kylie helped the little kids so that was a nice help!

We've been busy doing 24-48 piece puzzles. I also created a memory game out of pictures of the kids so we have played a few games of that each day! They really think it's funny to find a match, especially when they find it of themselves!

Breakfast: cinnamon rolls, grapes
Lunch: lasagna, cheese bread, banana
Snack: cookies
