Funshine's Freestyle Art: Blue Sky

We were supposed to use the paper provided and make something else, but I didn't exactly think the kiddos would get what we were making, so we made paper airplanes instead. The airplane directions were included in Funshine's book. They sure had a blast flying these airplanes around! Even the 1 yr old thought she needed an airplane! 

Funshine's Blast off Rocket; they had fun running with these on their hands and watching the streamers fly! 

Funshine's Space Orbit: What a neat concept to show them how astronauts can fly 

Funshine's World in My Hands: They always have fun painting with shaving cream/glue and then feeling it after it dries! As you can tell that cutting out on cardstock paper was a little bit for difficult for them than regular paper! 

Funshine's Moon Rocks: This was a good project for strenthing their fine motor skills with the tin foil. 

Spring Has Sprung!

Funshine's Freestyle Art: Decorative Egg: We did our own version of this project because I didn't think the one that was included in the project kit was large enough and they all love to paint! So, we cut out an oval shape and they waterpainted them.

 

 

Funshine's Chirpy Chick; I thought these turned out so cute! We used a magic nuudle for the beak!

 

Funshine April Showers; this was kinda a fun project with using tulle as the raindrops. They can lift the tulle up and they have their May flowers!

 

 

Funshine's Freestyle Art: Planting Cup; we used dobbers to decorate our cups to plant flowers

 

We used our own pictures to make our own grass heads! We will see if we can get anything to grow!

Funshine's Springtime Counting Book: What a great way to get the little ones to count! We took a piece of paper an cut it in 1/2 the long ways, then made 3 cuts for the book to open. Added our 1 flower sticker, 2 clouds (cotton balls) and 3 worms (string) to each page. I did have them write their own numbers and words.

 

 

Funshine's Birdie, Birdie, Birdie; this was one of my favorite bird projects! We first painted a paper plate brown for the nest, let dry and then cut in 1/2, stapled it together and then added brown paper shreds to the nest and then added our birds that we had already colored, added the eyes and beaks.

Changing Weather, Week 2

Funshine's Weather Chart: I think we kinda did this our own way, we used the paper from another project and glued the weather patterns to it once we cut them out. They had so much fun having their own weather charts to take home and move at home instead of the one we use daily.

Funshine's Pretty Pinwheels ; this project amazed them when we were done! I don't think they thought it would turn into anything! We had to take them outside and see if the wind could make them blow!

Funshine's 3D Rainbow Mobile; we did these in two different days, first we painted them and then finished them the next day. It was a little difficult for them to realize that they didn't need to cut the 1/2 of the paper plate all the way in 1/2!

 

Of course after any type of painting, they always love to paint their hands!

We tasted the rainbow while we read the book, What Makes a Rainbow

We took primary colors with vinegar and used pippets to drop the vinegar color into baking soda

Pot 'O Gold, I took felt circles and we normally hide them and then they have to place them in the correct order.

We colored cups as the Leprechaun's hats and the next day they were all shrank!

Leprechaun Juice, this is a must do every year around here! The Leprechaun Juice turns adults feet green!

Each day we added a color to our rainbow and eventually we had our rainbow and then it was St. Patrick's Day!
