The little train yesterday afternoon! 

We have little erasers hidden in the sensory tub, someone took them all out and was making a pattern/counting them!

Guess this should be flipped around, but, If I was a reindeer, my nose would be ____, red, green, black and purple were our answers!

We have some tired kiddos today, I think everyone must have had a fun filled weekend! We started talking about reindeer today and all of their body parts like the hooves are their feet, etc... We did the Reindeer Pokey a few times and even got outside for a little bit.

Yesterday afternoon we took on the project of cookie baking  for Friday night's activity... We had a slippery floor from all the flour when we were done, but, oh, did they have fun!

We enjoyed going OUTSIDE today! And, can't wait to go back out this afternoon!

Had to share... yesterday we spelled out our names with spray cheese on the crackers!

We did a religious project today--> It says, "Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father who is in Heaven" We also did the letter Aa today and they had fun stamping their fingerprints on other paper as well. Then, we did a few flannel board stories! 

After lunch, I was picking up some things to put away as I think with this younger group, less is more!  I started in the kitchen set and they wanted it moved to the other side, so we did and they were all playing so nice together!

Tuesday

Busy, busy playing this morning with late start! 

We did a few different worksheets to work on visual discrimination and then did dobbers! The kids loved it!  Then we did the Reindeer Pokey, which they thought was pretty funny and did a few other activities to burn off some energy!

Monday

And, we even started on our salt dough ornaments today... so, we had a busy, busy morning! At nap today, they said, I bet I know what we're having for snack, those hand prints! Oops... guess I need to explain, that we're going to be painting them on Wednesday:)

Another day too cold to go out and play! We made stockings this morning... 

And then used shaving cream to make stars!

Snow Day!

We took advantage of the snow and nice temps this morning and enjoyed quite a bit of time outside! I figured we would have the next few days for inside projects! The school kids were here about 1 today, so they will help me set up our Christmas Candy Shop for the dramatic play this afternoon!
