We were busy busy today... They played in the circus tent for part of the morning. We learned the letter N today and made a nest on the letter N. We also practiced writing Nn's. Once we were done with our projects, we did a couple flannel board stories and reviewed our daycare rules! They are all aware if they choose to break one of our rules, they will be moving their stop lights to the next color, either yellow or red. Outside, they had more fun shoveling the snow into the sleds. They also figured out that they fly down the yellow slide with their snowpants on!

Breakfast: colored pancakes, banana
Lunch: tuna/cheese hotdish, peas, peaches, garlic bread

Not sure if they will all be going home today or how long they will take to dry:) We also made snow owls, I was reminded that owl starts with the letter o! What a smart bunch of kiddos I have! We also did a few flannel board stories and played a few games of memory. They kept busy in between activities, selling things for the store the big girls made yesterday afternoon.

I'm back! Yippee! Don't think I've ever been so excited to receive the phone call that my computer was done, I guess you don't realize how much you depend on something until you don't have it!

We have been staying busy the last few days with the freezing temps and wind! We did get outside a few times, but not for long! At least we actually have snow now, which means we can shovel when we go outside, one of their favorite things to do!

Today, we made snowflakes with different shapes. We learned that snowflakes are hexagon's with 6 sides. Grandma was out to read stories one last time today, she is off to Mexico for 6 whole weeks:)

Breakfast: cereal, apple
Lunch: lasagna stuffed manacoti noodles, grapes, applesauce
Snack: pumpkin bread
