Happy 2nd Birthday Peyton!
We made it to Friday! Yippee:) We celebrated Peyton's 2nd Birthday today, it's so hard to believe that she is a big girl now! She was my "spoiled" baby for so long:~) Apparently Baby Alive's are something worth fighting about? That was what she got for her birthday present and the rest of the kids sure were interested in checking it out, but there was no way she was going to share it.... MINE! Oh, how we gotta love the 2's!
We used shaving cream and glue to make a snowman, they will have to dry over the weekend so we can finish them up on Monday. After we finished that, we did shaving cream on the table.... oooohhh... was that fun:) The kids thought it was neat that they could write things in it and erase it and write again!
We headed out to the snow hill this morning, they all had a blast going down, even Alexis did! She was giggling so hard:) I stood at the top to hold their sled and sent them down, they climbed back up and we did it over and over and over again!
Have a great weekend!
Breakfast: glazed donuts, grapes
Lunch: mac n cheese, hotdogs, green beans, banana
Snack: Peyton's birthday treats

It's Thursday already!
Walking down to check out our new big hill!
It seems like the week is buzzing right on by! I can't believe that it's already Thursday! It's amazing how fast the week has gone by considering that school has only been late once this week!
We worked on listening skills today with a snowman worksheet, they had to listen for directions. Color one mitten green, color one mitten red, etc... They did very well with it and it also worked great for the littler ones on colors. After that, we practiced our cutting skills. We have some great cutters, that is when we are holding the scissors correctly :)
We were able to enjoy the beautiful weather this morning! IT'S GORGEOUS OUTSIDE! I wish this weather would stick around for awhile, sure makes me want SPRING!
The rest of our morning, we spent dancing to some music and the big kids did puzzles while the little girls played dolls!
Breakfast: french toast sticks, oranges
Lunch: tuna hotdish, banana, grapes, garlic toast
Snack: PBJ

Busy Wednesday!
We had a busy morning! We headed to the Marshall Library where they had fun playing with the different toys including puzzles, flannel board pieces, trucks, big legos, etc... After the library we headed to Wal*Mart to pick out some new fish for our fish tank! Nope, I wasn't crazy, but we sure got some looks from people and a few comments :)
It is beautiful outside today, I can't wait to get out this afternoon and let them enjoy all this fresh air! We may have to head down to the big snow hill as Mike leveled them out last night, so they should have a nice path to sled down!
Breakfast: pancakes, pears
Lunch: cheese pizza, grapes, apples
Snack: clementines

Tuesday!
It is beautiful outside today! We managed to get out for a little bit but the wind was a bit chilly! We made Eskimos this morning and water painted a snowman. Grandma came and read stories and the Bookmobile should be stopping this afternoon.
We will plan to go the library tomorrow instead of Thursday this week.
Breakfast: cereal, banana
Lunch: chili, grapes, crackers
Snack: crackers

Bubble Wrap
I cleaned out my craft closet the other day and found this bubble wrap.... They seriously had a ton of fun stomping on it. I just love to listen to their giggles:) When we were done, I told them that there was still one bubble left to pop! They couldn't believe it when they found a ton more:)
Happy Friday!
We are getting tired of being cooped up inside! I'm hoping that next week is much warmer so we can get outside and enjoy some fresh air in our lungs!
Today, we made snowmen with three different sizes of circles. I always love to see how they create their art projects... We had snowmen of all kinds, from tall ones to smashed looking ones:) We also made pigs (out of hearts) for our bulletin board. The kids are developing excellent cutting skills!
Breakfast: donuts, grapes
Lunch: cod fish nuggets, french fries, bread, banana
Thanks again for making arrangements to pick your children up early today, I really do appreciate it. I have a great group of parents:)

Wonderful Wednesday!
We kept busy this morning! We did the letter O today, thanks to Brianna for bringing back the letter jar for us! We made owl's and learned the letter O song,
An O is just like a circle or a zero- Oh, it's so easy for me!
You just make the sound with your mouth open wide!
/o/, /o/, /o/, /o/, /o/, /o/, /o/, /o/, /o/, /o/!
An O is just like a circle or a zero- Oh, it's so easy for me!
We also played a few games of memory with winter pictures, they loved this and it seemed like the littler kids got all the matches by luck:)
Breakfast: cinnamon raisin toast, banana
Lunch: hamburger rice hotdish, cheesy veggies, grapes
Snack: cookies
