What a rainy/snowy day it is today! They have been using the balance beams broken into the pieces as ramps for the trucks. 

We traced our bodies onto paper and added bunny ears so we had a life size bunny of everyone. They had fun comparing whose bunny was bigger. 

We also got the tattoos out today!

Yesterday afternoon, we attempted some goop that was cornstartch and dish soap, it's kinda like ooblick, just not quite so messy!

We played a visual memory game, I had a few Easter items on the tray and then would hide one to see if they would know what was missing. 

We attempted a finger play about Easter eggs on our hands, but they ended up ripping their eggs, so we just did the poem on Nicci's hands!

A fun treat to go home today!

The kids were so excited to see that a squirrel finally found our corn that had been out ALL winter long! 

We made shakers today to take home, they each picked if they wanted beans or popcorn seeds and then filled them... the older kids could tell the difference between the two, which I thought was pretty good. 

We dobbered on an Easter egg shape and then added a little iridescent glitter

We did get outside, but only for a little bit! It was chilly out with the wind! We came in and got out a couple new toys from the basement, so these 3 were happy and so was everyone else because they were not being bothered!

Happy Friday! We colored rice for the sensory table this morning, I don't think the kids knew that you would really have to shake the rice so much to get all the color on it! I just want to add a couple little baskets yet!

Muffin Tin Monday Friday! These worked perfect for eating outside! I'm going to remember to use these more often for this!

Have a great weekend! We have a 4 day week next week as I'm off on Friday! I sure hope the weather cooperates so we can have our big egg hunt again this year... I think they keep increasing the chance of snow/rain for Wed/Thurs next week! BOO!

We all had fun outside this morning.... you can sure tell that we've been couped up all winter long!

We colored our pictures for the Old Lady while I was making lunch and then cut them out after lunch! We will see if they remember how the story goes when they share it at home!
