Friday, Feb. 7th!

Yesterday afternoon, it was still to cold to go out so we had to come up with something different... we had a race track or it looked more like a train track and we all drew our houses and what not on it. they had fun with it!

pink chocolate chip cookie dough! seriously, I have never thought about doing this.. using the color paste to tint the dough a different color... I'm thinking the options are endless with this... green at St. Patrick's Day!

We had lunch at the little table today... oh, they thought that was fun!

Thursday!

Yesterday afternoon we built with marshmallows and toothpicks... it was fun to see their creations!

Yesterday afternoon we colored on the table and then rolled the playdough into it to color the playdough. It was something fun and different and a good way to use up our white playdough from last month.

my art belongs to you... can't see it too good but we colored on a piece of white paper and then cut it out into a heart shaped and then glued it onto the piece of white paper

we talked about shadows today and when we went outside, we found our shadows just like the groundhog did!

Our Valentine list is going home today! 

Groundhog Books... even, I learned something about groundhogs! In hibernation, they breathe only about once every six minutes and their heart beats only once every four or five minutes!

I just set up the post office for next week's dramatic play... here's a peak!

I brought in a few coupe cars over the weekend

Our name snowmen... We will see what the kids think when they get up and see them next to each other. Then it will be time to compare, whose is taller, shorter, how many more snowballs, less, etc... So, we worked on name recognition and math! 

I seen this shirt a few weeks ago and had to buy it because I thought it was just funny for Mr. Levi... stuck with all the girls! He's our "Ladies Man"!
