Thursday

It's Thursday! And, we got out to enjoy this beautiful weather! I picked up rain gutters the other day and we were finally able to use them today... they had a blast!

Tuesday...

We made ice cream playdough this morning... what a messy but fun thing to do! The recipe was 1 bottle of conditioner and 1 box of corn starch and then I added a little bit of kool-aid to make it smell good. Then we used foam pieces for our sprinkles!

So in between working on Father's Day presents, playing with the ice cream playdough and listening to Grandma's stories, that about took up our morning!

Tuesday!

We had fun playing in the water this morning.... finally it feels warm enough to have the water out! We started on our popsicle's this morning, hopefully we can finish them after nap!

Monday, June 10th

I had originally planned on doing our ice cream shop theme in July, but, I was getting a little bit tired of pond friends, so we switched early!

We even made giant ice cream cones this morning with shaving cream/glue and sprinkles... they sure look yummy enough to eat!

Snack this afternoon, we're having frozen yogurt in baby cones...

Friday, June 7th

Oops, sorry about no blog updates for a few days this week! We've been busy enjoying our time outside and working on pond animals.

It was a good day to build a fort!

We finally were able to finish our 5 Green & Speckled Frogs... it was good to get back into our regular routine! We did enjoy some much needed outside time!

Happy Friday! Sorry for no update the past few days, we have been a little busy! Hoping things settle down and we can get back into our regular routine again next week! Besides, we have projects to get caught up on:)

Hope everyone had a great long weekend! We are starting our pond theme today... It was even nice out that we could enjoy time outside.

I loved this idea I found online... 5 Green & Speckled Frogs so the kids can act them out. 

The swimming pool replaced the chairs in the reading corner
