Our Memorial Day project!

We went bird watching this morning, probably not the typical bird watching, it was super windy outside! As we found the different colored birds, we colored them on our paper.

Happy Thursday! The sun is out and shining! We've had a great day today, I think the dreary weather the last few days was really taking a toll on all of us! We had a great time playing outside this morning and after lunch, I had fun watching them play... always fun to see where their imagination takes them!

Wednesday.... a rainy day!

A rainy day today! We brought a few of the little cars inside and the little kids have had fun driving them around for something different to do. Grandma was out to read stories today and then we glued feathers onto a bird. They have had fun watching the birdies outside playing in the rain and eating their food.

Hair Salon

Yesterday afternoon, the big kids set up a hair salon... here's the pictures!

Tuesday, May 21st

Life Cycle of  a Bird we did yesterday 

Aylah lost her 1st tooth!

During pick up time today, I put on the song from Madagascar, I Like To Move It, and told them we needed to race the song. Anyway, among the picking up kids, these 2 were dancing... I about died! It was so stinkin' cute!

Monday, May 20th

We are finishing up our theme on birds this week! The little kids made color books that they can read! I found them over at 3Dinosaurs.

Worms.... Friday, May 17th

Happy Friday everyone! We had our worm races this morning... they soon figured that if they wanted the worm to move, they needed to use water!

Thursday, May 16th

What a fun day we had playing outside... I'm loving this weather! I told the kids we would save our projects for tomorrow as it's supposed to rain then. They agreed and said let's get outside to play, so that's just what we did. Some colored, did potion lab, swung, cooked, played in the sand, make soup, etc...

Last day of School!

What a HOT one out today! I think we will be staying inside this afternoon, it will be too HOT for us to be outside... Today is Kendra's last day of daycare! We hope she will come back and visit us:)

The school kids are already out of school for the year! They are having a popcorn/movie afternoon, and tomorrow we will start with the activities in the afternoon for them to keep busy!

Monday, May 13th

We started our theme on birds today! We made birds in a nest and then went outside to play, who knew it was going to be so WINDY! Yuck, I think we will stay inside this afternoon.
