Friday, May 9th

It's Friday!!! We used our fine motor skills today and put stickers on a X, I can tell we haven't done stickers for awhile as they had a blast with them.

Our Mother's Day projects... they each picked what kind of flower they wanted to give Mom!

Just a reminder that Wednesday, I'm closing early at 3:30 so we can get to Adam's graduation!

Rainy Thursday

We had another rainy day today... they were so busy playing today, it's fun to watch their imaginations at work! We did do something to stick in with our Mother's Day presents. It was fun to see the kids' answers to a few different questions.

Wednesday... Rain & Birds!

A rainy day! I will admit, it was kinda nice to have a rainy day after playing outside the past few days! We didn't even do circle time this morning, they were too busy playing and I didn't want to interrupt! First, we had to build a giant road and then they played babies for most of the rest of the morning!

I did notice that the finches and orioles were back outside, so I called their attention to the orange and yellow birds... I've never seen them all sit and watch something for so long! So, we did end up making bird feeders for the birdies! 

Tuesday, May 7th

Our ants we made with a hill

You can't talk about ants without a picnic!

Grandma came and read stories today and then we spent the WHOLE rest of the time outside until we came in for nap time... Yes, we have some TIRED TIRED kiddos today! 

We did a little painting with water outside!

Monday, May 6th!

We had a day filled with lots of outside time! It was WONDERFUL! We played inside for a little bit this morning and then went outside and even had lunch outside.... Between having fun in the sandbox and finding water in everything that they could to make their sand creations and watching the tractor/planter in the yard! I think between all the fresh air and the weekend excitement, they were all wiped out... it was a record time for everyone falling asleep at nap time!

Friday, May 3rd

Our caterpillars are ready to be in their cocoons... it was amazing to watch one this morning shake! I'm guessing it will soon be in a cocoon... fun for the kids to see what really happens to the caterpillars!

Thursday, May 2nd

10 Little Butterflies... we worked on our colors again today! 

We worked on finishing up our Mother's Day presents today! They are almost done! Now, we just need to wait until next week to add the finishing touches to them! We also painted another part for our butterflies, and hopefully they will be dry that we can finish them after nap today. We had a day of inside time today, it looked too windy and chilly to go outside, but hoping that it will be different this afternoon!

Tuesday, April 30th

It's the last day of April today! On to a new month! Let's hope it's a sunny/warm one!

Today, we painted the start of our butterflies, we will finish them on Thursday! Grandma was out to read stories and we headed out to play!
