Friday...

Our project today was to make snow globes! I took their picture last week out in the snow and they couldn't figure out what we were going to do with them! They sure had fun putting on the shaving cream/glue mixture!

(These 2 are pretty funny--- don't try to sit in one or they will have a total fit because they want to sit on them!)

Thursday

This morning we painted a snowflake different shades of blue. We counted the sides to it and found out it had 6 sides. We also had an indoor snowball fight with colored snowballs! We even had to put on our hats for added fun:)

Wednesday...

It's Wednesday! Today, we did the fingerplay about the 10 little Snowmen and worked on counting to 10 with our fingers. Grandma was out to read stories and then we went out to play in the snow! It's gorgeous outside!

Tuesday!

This morning, they were into playing babies and kitchen. I love to watch their imaginations at work! We made penguins out of our hands and foot prints. Then, we enjoyed a little time outside, however the wind was a little chilly. But, they all had a blast climbing on the snow hill!

Monday, January 7th

Happy Monday! Here's to a nice full week of back to routine! I think I need it just as much as the rest of the kids.

Today, we were busy talking about penguins and made a penguin, then made the letter Nn.

I have a bunch of  snow pictures from this morning, I will try to upload from my phone!

Friday!

Playing with our clothesline... to help work on matching, colors, numbers, and of course fine motor skills by figuring out how the clothespins work!

We got the sensory table back out today and tried to make some "snow stuff", however, I think we need to add more shaving cream, but the recipe called for 2 16 oz boxs cornstarch, 1 can of shaving cream and 1 bag of faux snow flakes

Giant snowmen!

Snowmen

We kept BUSY today, they all wanted to do puzzles, so that kept them busy for awhile and then we made our giant snowmen and the ones with our faces on (they couldn't believe that we were giving them a carrot nose!)

Happy Wednesday! I almost forgot to blog this morning:( guess I've been out of the loop for awhile!

Today, we made some New Years Babies in a diaper and the kids think they are hilarious! Grandma was out to read stories and then we went outside to play and left Grandma in with the babies!
