Happy Friday! Today, we cut out the number 2 and added various things of 2, then we practiced writing 2's. We had a great time outside this morning, played in the boat, with the kitchen and in the sand box.

Thursday

This morning, we finished letter Bb and worked on writing our names... they are all improving SOOO much on writing their names... fun to see how fast they can pick up on it!

When we went outside, they discovered the boat now has the steering wheel.... we had to learn to wait our turn to drive!

Wednesday

Last week wasn't going fast enough and this week can slow down!!!

For part of Brooklyn's birthday present, Mike plans to finish the boat... for now, it's just the floor. Yesterday, no one played in it! Today, we put chairs in there and they had a blast.

We moved the kitchen up to the sidewalk and added some new food!

Letter B today!-- Just a funny thing-- we were talking about letter B words and guess what word they came up with..... BEER! I don't quite think we could add that one to our word wall, but yes, Beer starts with Bb!

Tuesday

Hope you all had a great long Labor Day weekend! It sounds like everyone had a fun time doing whatever they did-- zoo, fair, camping, birthday party!

Today, we colored scarecrows and then added our picture for the face. Then we practiced our cutting skills and cut out a various shapes for a scarecrow that I think we may hang up.

Thursday...

For some reason, this week seems to be dragging! But, it's Thursday today!  Today, we learned about the number 1. They think it's an easy number to write, just a straight line down! I promised the school kids we would make edible playdough this afternoon since they were talking it was supposed to be so hot today.

Wednesday...

Today, we finished learning how to write the letter A. Even Levi and Brooklyn like to sit with us at the table and color! We enjoyed our time outside this morning, played in the sand, built with blocks and went for a walk!

Happy 5th Birthday Austin! It started out as a rainy day, but it was nice by the time we went out to play. They were so busy playing with some balloons that I had blowed up for Austin's birthday, we didn't get to our circle time activities until a little later and all of a sudden, by the time we were done with the letter A it was already 10:30! So, needless to say, our morning went by too fast!

Indoor Playground

We went to the Indoor Playground at the Redwood Area Community Center today... the kids had a blast climbing up and sliding down... I think we will plan to go again this winter.
