Tuesday, Aug 21st

I found these larger foam letters at Wal-Mart last night, so I placed them around the room and then they found them, but had to place them on the matching letter. It was a great way to work on the alphabet and they loved it!

We painted owls today to hang up for our bulletin board, "Whooo's ready for fall?" We even let Levi paint with us today!

We spent a great amount of time outside this morning and then had lunch on the deck, followed by some super tired kiddos!

Back to school!

The kids are back to school and we are lovin' doing our own thing and figuring out our schedule again! Today, we did flannel board stories, sang songs, made a couple different books for our library and even practiced writing our names!

Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! We had a couple extra school kids today, so we spent LOTS of time outside! It gets too crazy in my house with all these extra bigger bodies running around....

Tuesday

Mike stayed with the kids this morning, while I had an eye doctor appt. I was back by 9:30 and we headed outside to play!

Monday

We water-painted this  morning, even Levi and Brooklyn were able to paint too! We enjoyed our time outside this morning and Kendra was back to play today! I think the kids missed her:)

Friday

Happy Friday! I had a Dr. appt this morning, so Mike watched the kids and I have an eye doctor appt on Tuesday, so he will be here then too!

We celebrated Amber's 8th Birthday today, since she will be gone for her birthday next week. Hard to believe she is 8 already! I used to love to sit and rock her all afternoon at my mom's when she was doing daycare!

They are really getting into building with the blocks to make cities and houses. Kinda fun to see! Which makes me glad we don't keep the blocks on the shelf anymore, so they actually get used this way!

Monday...

I'm back! Sorry about last week, but in order to prevent the spread of hand foot and mouth, it was necessary! And, it wasn't all bad anyway... the toys have all been cleaned and the toy room re-arranged. I even managed to get the toy room closet cleaned out and found a few things the big girls have been asking for!

Thanks for the wonderful birthday gift. It was a nice suprise on Thursday! I can't wait to head to Maurices:)

This week, we are doing Disney movies as our theme. Today, was UP, we made these adorable little houses with balloons hanging them up. (I will post a picture as soon as I can find my camera cord!) I think we worked over an hour on this project! It was involving, lots of coloring, cutting and gluing!
