Our week is 1/2 over! We used dobbers to make Christmas trees this morning and also did a visual discrimination worksheet to see what did not belong. Yesterday, I got out some trucks that have been in the waaayyy back of the closet for awhile, they have had more fun playing with those today!

We kept busy this morning, the girls did a ton of puzzles while the little girls played with dolls. We also made islands with the letter I, Christmas lights on a house, practiced writing our names and we will practice writing the letter Ii after nap time. We did get outside for just a couple minutes, I'm not used to this cold weather! We also worked on colors for the litter kids and we played a counting game with jingle bells for Rudolph. The best part about today... PAJAMA DAY!

Breakfast: muffins, banana
Lunch: ham, potatoes, corn, breadstick
Snack: cheeze-it's

What talents or skills do you have that would help you be a good employee? stop hitting
Why do you want to work for Santa? to get a treat
Why would you make a good reindeer? because I want a star

Happy Friday! Woofda that wind is nasty outside today... We were outside long enough for them to run around for a few minutes and in we came! We made stockings today and they also colored a picture.

Tomorrow we are having our Christmas Fun Day, come for the whole day or just part, 8AM- 4PM, our theme for the day will be snowmen! I probably won't even want to do snowmen in January after tomorrow:)

Breakfast: donuts, banana
Lunch: hamburger/noodle hot dish, applesauce, peas
Snack: cinnamon tortillas

These two have become pretty good buddies, it's fun to see them interact with each other, if only we knew what they were each thinking:)

Puzzles was the thing today! It's nice to see them challenge themselves with doing puzzles. We also made a Santa countdown calendar, each day, they get to cut a strip off Santa's beard. Since they all love cutting so much, I thought this would be a neat thing!

They enjoyed running around in the snow, they found out how fast you slide down the spiral slide with snow on it!

Breakfast: cereal, banana
Lunch: chicken strips, french fries, oranges
Snack: mozzarella bites

What a busy day we had today, it has flew right on by! We finished tracing every ones hand/foot prints that was gone yesterday for our angels. We also did the letter Hh today, it was Peyton's turn for the letter jar. We played a few games of matching with letters A-H on the bottom of kisses. They thought it was soooo much fun, it was an easy game to make and something different! We will have to do that again. I think the best part was eating them:) Grandma was out to read stories today and we enjoyed the 40 degree temperature outside!

Breakfast: chocolate chip pancakes
Lunch: tator tot hotdish, bread, oranges
Snack: hot chocolate, pretzels

Breakfast: cereal, banana
Lunch: pizza, oranges, broccoli
Snack: puffins

We finished up our turkey hand prints and colored a thanksgiving picture today. Grandma was out to read stories and they helped me make turkeys out of Oreos, Reese's and M&M's for snack. They have had more fun cutting in the sensory table, I always forget how the younger kids absolutely love cutting!
